GERMAN BLACK FOREST CARVED ANTIQUE PLAQUE OF GAME ANIMALS 17 x 14 folk art

  

Lost and Found Antiques - OUR RARE - INTERESTING & IMPORTANT PIECES. CARVED BLACK FOREST OVAL PLAQUE. NICE SIZE - 22" X 17". It has been gently restored / varnished over the years but still has some losses, the rabbits ears and the birds beak along with some of the floral decoration. The two piece rope twist frame has some missing pieces on the top and bottom and sides and does not align right on the top.

Even with all the imperfections it is still is very decorative and a true folk art work. I have taken a lot of quality pictures to try to show you how nice this antique carved plaque is so.... Carved antique pieces this size are getting harder to find in any condition, this should make a nice addition to any Black Forest or folk art collection. Size is17" high X 17" wide.
