Unusual, naive hand carved Southwest themed post totem. I think that this is carved from an old stair newel or post of some sort. It is signed by the artist and it seems to read as: Asberry.

I have researched and found a few folk artists named Asberry, but no direct attribution. Approximately 10" tall and 2.5" by 2.5 at the base.
