Vintage 19 African Hand Carved Wooden Elephant Mask, Tribal Folk Art, Wall Deco

  

Welcome to Apparel Vintage Collectibles. This mask has a faint smoke odour to it, possibly came from a smoker's home or a bar-like environment. We have cleaned and sanitised it with Clorox wipes, however the smell is persistent and will take time to completely go away.

Vintage African folk art - one(1) hand carved wooden mask, depicting a native man with an elephant headdress in abstract style. Appears to be made from walnut, with natural grooves, cracks and handmade imperfections visible here-there, which are all part of the sculpting process. Overall measurements are 19" high, 6" wide and 3 deep. Unfortunately, we have no background history for this item. Used, damaged, missing parts, missing tags/box/paperwork, etc.
