There are the initials "A B" carved into the top lid shown in picture #4. As you can see in the pictures provided this spice box has four small intricate hand carved designs on the front and two large hand carved designs on each side of this spice box. The lid is made of cedar, and the bottom piece is made of pine.
This walnut spice box was made in the Northeastern United States. Possibly Pennsylvania, but more likely New England.Please refer to the pictures and thanks for looking.
