The marionette was possibly made to resemble an actress from the era, like Ginger Rogers, making it a collectible item for fans of vintage and antique toys and Golden age Hollywood. She stands about 28 tall.Overall good shape with minor areas of wear like some paint missing from an eyebrow. She is mostly wood, but seems to have leather bands at the joint and fabric at her torso. She is currently unclothed, but will look fabulous in fashions from the 1930's era. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind addition to your collection, this hand-carved wooden folk art marionette is a must-have.
