Antique Primitive Folk Art Lady Carving Snake Articulated Arms Effigy Oaxacan

  

The wood carving was found in Lemont IL which is 30 miles outside of Chicago, possibly from Oaxaca Mexico. It appears old and is very light and the nails look very old. Julia in the last couple of years. The latter was possibly an effigy from the Haymarket Riots in Chicago.

This is similar and may have been mounted on a pole. It is about 20 inches long. One of the arms and one of the legs have been repaired. Thanks for looking at this unusual item. Get your own map of past buyers.
