Antique Folk Art Carved Burled Wood Root Carving Sculpture of 2 Men. I'm not sure of the origin of this piece but it appears to be American but could possibly be European.

The carving is made from a tip of a burled root and has very strong figuring which is very apparent in areas which aren't carved with texture. Depicts two men with very large exaggerated noses.

Measures 5 1/2" in length, is 4 5/8" in width, and stands 2 7/8 in height. The carving is in great condition with only 2 tight cracks to the bottom edge. There are remnants of felt to the underside.
