Antique 19th Century Folk Art Carved Wood Painted Cows Bulls Sculpture Americana

  

A wonderful American folk art carved wood and painted sculpture of bulls side by side set on a wood plinth, 19th century. The paint is old and has a lovely aged patina to it. Overall, the sculpture is in very good condition for age. There are age related small paint losses, general wear to surface, some toning/soiling, small scattered bumps and nicks, etc.

There are also old screws on each side of the plinth, unsure of their use. Best guess is to hold the piece down on a surface. Please see all photos for condition.
