Antique New York Folk Art Carved Chickadee Bird Estate Original. I've decided to sell a few other of my antique folk art carvings. A whimsically carved chickadee, with beautiful details and bold pose. It's in good condition, but has much paint loss, and a gorgeous patina! The legs are tapered wood, and are mounted in it's original base. A beautiful and whimsical old folk art bird.

It's in as found, lightly dusted condition. Please feel free to check my other listings for more birds and early folk art. I have a long running log where I've written about the pieces I've bought, who, where, when. I always thought I was sort of adding to the documentation of all this great work. I enjoy the work by anyone who has that certain edge, quality.
