Here is an antique 1842 folk art carved wood mortar and pestle with a low bowl. Both are dated April 1842.The mortar is 7" tall and 5" across. It shows some cracks and chips as seen.
The pestle is 7" long and 1-1/2" thick. The bowl is 5-1/2" across and stands 2" tall. Some nice old American folk art primitives. The mortar weighs 2 lbs.
