Chainsaw Carving Bear Wood Sculpture Folk Art

  
This is a chainsaw carving of a bear on all fours. I carved the bear from a white pine log. Next, I burned and brushed the carving. Then I applied a coat of sander/sealer and two coats of helmsman's spar urethane. The bear has glass eyes. There are floor protectors on the bottom of the carving. It weighs about 9 pounds.

The bear has the following dimensions. 14 overall height to top of ears. The carving can be placed inside or outside.

It is best kept out of constant direct sunlight or next to a direct heat source. Please be aware that this is a woodcarving and there is the possibility that cracking could occur.
