Antique 1800s hand carved wood Folk Art bluebill black duck decoy bird sculpture

  
Up for sale is a wonderful antique hand carved 19th century wooden bluebill duck decoy sculpture. It is beautifully carved with nice detailing and painted by hand.

This flat bottom decoy has an applied rear lead weight along with a pull hook by the front. The decoy has inlaid two toned yellow glass eyes and is in nice used condition with normal ware. It measures 12 1/2 inches long by 7 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide. It has paint loss throughout as shown in photos and has some ware on the tail tip and top of the head.
