He's in original paint with much crazing and loss, but an amazing patina. The figure itself and carving is in great condition. Some items were stored in the attic for the past 100 years. The arms are articulated, one representing a club, the other a hook? It looks like he's walking backwards?
Maybe his head or feet are going in opposite directions? He seems mixed up and having a bad day. A Keystone Cops kind of day? I've always thought he looked sort of sinister and problematic.
