I don't know a whole lot about clocks, but this circa 1836 Henry Terry Plymouth CT shelf Clock is a piece of Federal period folk art! Featuring a great carved eagle and ornate pilasters, the clock straddles the line between Federal and empire.
An Eight day clock, it was top of the line in the 1830s. It does have brass works/movement, which may be later. It lacks a key and I lack knowledge about clocks, so I cannot say if it is in working order. 37.5 by 17 inches. The item "C1836 Henry Terry Plymouth CT 8 day Shelf Clock Carved Eagle Eli Folk Art brass" is in sale since Saturday, January 11, 2020.
