HUGE 1974 Daniel & Barbara Strawser Folk Art Carved Bird / Eagle Schimmel Style
For your consideration is an EXCEPTIONAL early example of a Folk Art Painted Carved Bird. This stunning piece was hand carved and painted by Daniel and Barbara Strawser - one of the earliest pieces they made - completed in 1974 per the signature below. This sculpture is VERY LARGE - measures 40.25 wide at the widest point of the wing span.
It measures 22.25" tall and 18" deep. This piece can be picked up and or previewed at our location in Lancaster County, PA. Check my other auctions for an additional carving by Strawser.
