Vintage Mexican Folk Art Carved Wooden Ceremonial Mask Wall Art 10.5 Tall

  

Vintage carved wooden ceremonial mask from Mexico. This unique hand painted ceremonial mask is most likely from the mid 20th century and shows an eclectic sculptured form where the nose is actually another face. This piece has had wire added to the back so that it can be hung on the wall and measures 10.5" tall x 6" wide x 3 deep. Mask shows patina, paint loss, and scars consistent with its age, use, and material.

There is a small broken piece on the corner (see last picture). In our opinion, all of this just adds to the uniqueness of the piece.
