Vintage Indian Hand Carved Oversized Folk-Art Throne. We are proud to offer a unique and sumptuous hand carved / painted Indian Maharajas throne.

A highly decorative and elaborately carved oversized throne that would make an amazing centre piece in any cool interior space. Recently uncovered from a large estate sale from Cyfronydd Hall owned by Lord William Hague. The item is untouched in form, heavy as it made from solid wood (25kg) hand painted with some great craftsmanship, including carved flowers, roses, leaves, lions, claw feet, framed decor and hand painted maharajah on the backrest. H 60 x W 30 x D 28. These items are completely solid in structure and form, an aged patination across the surface and light loss of paint due to usage and age.
