Paine Colorful Hand Carved Pennsylvania Folk Art Bird Tree

  

I have three pieces of hand carved and painted Pennsylvania Folk Art listed, all by an Allentown Pa artist by the name of Paine. This artist is difficult to find anything on, but all pieces are recent, I'd say within the last 10 years. Each is marked on the base and impressed Paine or Paine, Allentown, Pa. This one is a stunner! A five bird tree with mustard, green, black and white birds, five green leaves and a large sunflower with leaves at the base.

It stands 20" tall and the base is 5" square. All hand carved and mounted by wire legs and stems on the tree limbs and base. A beautiful piece of folk art, sure to be an enviable addition to any Pa folk art collection! A great Christmas gift for the folk art lover on your list too!
