EVANS WOOD CARVED CARNIVAL RACEHORSE - RACE HORSE FOLK ART -1920 -40. This all wood, hand carved polychrome colored horse was mounted on a circular track with 15 to 30 other horses. Participants would bet on the number of their choice. They would fly around the track driven by a few turns of a hand wheel. The horse with the closest nose to the finish line wins.
