Early Antique Primitive Folk Art Carved Wooden Fish Nautical Trade Sign

  
Very interesting old piece with a great look. Has a driftwood look and honestly- it could have gotten that look by being out to so sea long after it was carved into a sign. Eye hook is still old but a newer addition, the older piece of attached metal appears to be an early hand wrought fastener. It faintly appears to have writing carved in the side but so worn that it's entirely illegible. Just a fascinating, one of one item that you will never find again.
