Here we have a wonderful Welsh Folk Art slate fan. This beautiful piece is carved to perfection - such intricate details, makes me wonder how on earth it was made!

Slate fan's are somewhat of a traditional Welsh item, the quarrymen/slate workers often made items like this in their leisure hours to display pride and place by the fireside in their home. Beautiful carved heart to centre and concentric circles towards the base.
