The product is a set of two primitive wood folk art figures depicting an accordion player and a violinist. Each figure is hand-painted and carved, showcasing a traditional folk art style.

Dating back to the 19th century in the United States, these small sculptures are considered original pieces of art. The colorful figures, measuring up to 14 inches in size, are listed by a dealer or reseller and are unsigned. Two primitive Faggart figures that are hand carved and nailed together. The torso and legs of both figures I think our one piece.

The arms are carefully nailed it to the torso. I have seen many Many figures completely carved of wood, but never one made like this. I highly suggest and recommend that you look at all photos in large to fully appreciate the workmanship and creativity of these wonderful wooden figures. The violinist stands just over 6 inches tall. Only a small fragment of the bow remains. 1 foot is partially broke off & there is a piece of his hat, broken offHe is nailed to a wood base. The accordion player is a woman and she stands just over 5 inches tall. Both of her feet are damaged. The leather strap has come undone on the bottom. Both figures have been handmade and hand painted. I have enjoyed these for many years, but it is time to let someone else enjoy them as much as I have. I think both are made from Pine wood.
