Large antique French Tramp Art crucifix. A superb example of this original antique Folk Art crucifix. Hand made from cigar boxes, the stamp of which can be seen on the back of the plinth. There is a metal Jesus figure in place with a plaque above which reads'INRI.

It stands on 4 wooden feet. Overall in good antique condition, there is a loss to the flower head on one corner at the front as shown. There are surface marks and wear associated with age and use.

The top of Jesus' head has been pushed in, but this is not noticeable when looking straight on at the cross. Please expand and study the photos for any small losses there may be. Dimensions - 48.5cm H x 18cm W x 16.5cm D / Weight 1kg. The items I sell are in a used antique or vintage condition.
