This is an old Vintage Folk Art Hand Carved Norwegian Hall king Troll - (7 inches) carved Dovregubbens Hall on bottom edge. I do not see any maker marks. The carved figure is screwed to base.

From what I found on the net-In the play, Dovregubben is a troll king that Peer Gynt invents in a fantasy.
