Folk Art Carved Wood Shorebird Egret With Glass Eyes

  
This solid wood folk art bird is in a very typical pose, hard to make in a wood sculpture. The neck is bent at a typical angle with the beak almost parallel to the body The bird is painted and has carvings for the tail and wing feathers. Condition is very good, no defects noted.

The piece is not signed. Measurements are: 8" by 3 3/4" and 12 1/4 tall.
