An unusual antique primitive carved wood razor box with slate for honing on the underside, dating from the early to mid 19th century and probably Northern European. The lid is decorated with naïve shapes and patterns and it has a good, old patina. It is in good, well-used condition with some losses to the wood on the handle and a little damage to the slate hone see photos. It measures 10 by 2 by just over 1 inches 25.5 by 5 by 3 cm.
