Rare late 18th Century English antique treen snuff box carved as a kneeling male figure complete with hair and stock around his neck! The back opens to reveal a hollowed aperture used to store snuff. Most probably made by a sailor whilst at sea, to while away the hours when not working. Condition - In original condition - see images. There is some surface wear, specifically to the right knee (see last image). We are a member of the following 3 Professional Institutions.
