Today, he is the third generation to carry on his family tradition.

Christopher knows that choosing just the right lumber from racks of aged and dried basswood is crucial to achieving the successful carvings of one of his unique originals. After many labor-intensive hours, the original piece is finished and ready to move to the next step.

At the Christopher Blake Studio, they create all of the four-part molds right on site to insure a perfect casting of the original design. All of the paints used are special blends that they have been mixing for three generations.
