This one-of-a-kind, signed large vintage hand-made wooden Americana Noah's Ark and hand-carved animal set from Allen Antiques & Artisans is a beautiful addition to any collection. The intricate details and craftsmanship make it a unique piece of folk art. Made in the United States in 1998, this set is perfect for lovers of bible stories, Americana collectors, and vintage toys. The set includes Noah & wife and 20 pairs of animals (not including the 5 pairs of birds permanently affixed to the roof) that were aboard the ark, each one hand-carved with loving care. This item (#7 of 10, dated 1998) uses reclaimed pieces such as rusted metal to give it a folk art found object appeal. Must use photos for condition. It has a rustic artistic sensibility. It always had a distressed effect. It's been on display and NEVER played with.
