FOLK ART - PRIMITIVE 15thC GOTHIC MEDIEVAL CARVED OAK CORPUS CHRISTI! A superb, Primitive and highly Atmospheric Carved Oak Corpus Christi dating the late Medieval and the 15thC, the piece beautifully timeworn with the Face wonderfully rubbed from Centuries of Worship, his Arms now typically not present with the recesses showing remnants of deep insertions.

The piece has been left in superb original condition showing various shrinkage and associated wear accurate with the passage of time, despite this he remains very much solid and secure as an object. The piece measures approx 61cm in overall height / length - approx 13cm in frontal width Shoulder to Shoulder, as stated he shows lots of age related wear throughout, there are some remnants of odd worm holes which has been treated long ago and is not active.
