Antique Carved Wooden Horse, Hand Painted Folk Art Primitive Carousel Style

This Large heavy, 19th-century carved wooden horse sculpture has old world folk art craftsmanship and wonderful distressed patina with deep hand-carved details, dapple accents, a real horsehair tail, and beautiful floral hand-painted motifs on the saddle area. Perfect as a primitive centerpiece, folk art collector piece, or focal decor for rustic and vintage interiors. Original antique condition with genuine distress, paint loss, chippiness, and surface wear consistent with authentic folk art. Wood shows natural age cracking/seams near joint areas which is common in multi-piece hand-carved folk art pieces, but remains structurally intact and displays very sturdy.

22 L - nose to tail.
