Vintage painted wood carving of a hunter, his dog, gun and rabbit, circa 1940. Very humorous carving and details such as the nose of the dog, mans face, and rabbits tail.

Possible Maine carving, initialed JEN on the back of the base. Measures 11" wide, 8" deep, 18 high.

Excellent paint, patina and subject matter. Good condition for its age. A good example of folk art, probably made by someone with no artistic training.
