Unique Antique Hand Carved and Painted Cat Folk Art Figure On Post

  
Antique primitive hand carved and painted cat figure. This was found in an old barn and we have no idea how it was displayed or used. Features a bright yellow cat in a seated position mounted on a pole. Made of old worm hole wood but appears to be in very good condition for its age.

Remnants of blue paint are showing through in places. 13 1/4"tall x 15" tall with the remnants of the pole x 4" deep x 2 3/4" wide.
