Not sure of the wood type and possibly varies among the frames. Measurements below are approximate and made at longest/widest points. Frame 1 - 4 Birds: 9-3/4" Tall X 11-1/2" Wide. Frame 2 - Heart opening with wings and feet: 11-1/4" Tall X 10" Wide.
Frame 3 - Diamond with Roses/Flowers: 12" Tall X 7-1/2" Wide. Frame 4 - 2 Birds and Columns: 9" Tall X 8-1/4" Wide. Frame 5 - Horseshoe and Rosettes: 10-3/4" Tall X 7-1/4" Wide. The glass in the diamond frame (Frame 3) is wavy in spots like hand blown. The most damage to any frame looks to be the significant chips to the rosettes on frame 5 (horseshoe shape).
That frame also has a wire stand attached. The others are either hanging (frames 2 and 3) or have bases thick enough to be free standing (frames 1 and 4). This is a remarkable, one of a kind set of folk art frames. Please see pics and feel free to ask questions.
