Jose Pinal Mexican Wood Carved Peasant With Heavy Basket of Sacks. A weary farmer carrying a multitude of grain sacks on his back and supporting his tired body with a cane. One sack has a chip to one of its corners, some light scratches and marking commensurate with age.
Remnants of dried glue on the base. Impressed on the heel of his foot, Jose Pinal's seal makers mark, JP Made in Mexico. He is held in place with two screws and his cane is made from a separate piece. It is placed slightly loose in his hand. Sculpture- 6.5" L x 3" W x 10 H.
