Early Antique George Washington Hand Carved & Painted Profile Bust passed down through several generations of a New England Family/Estate. Possibly a Washington "Centennial" commemorative carving. Chip carved background board and carved frame with concave channels and incised "X's" on corners gives it "Folk Art " feel. Relief Carved and full of great patina throughout.

Size: 13" high X 9 7/8" wide. A great old hand carved and painted piece!
