1890's Folk Art Walking Cane or Stick w/ a handle carved in the form of a snake's head w/ glass eyes. One piece, top to bottom, on a curved carved shaft, chip carved on the top, and lines on the underside, depicting the scales and stomach of the snake. The quality of the work is amazing! The handle is 3" long x 1 1/4" at the widest point. The shaft is 1 1/4' wide at its widest. The cane is 36 long. The condition is excellent - lovely age and. The tip of the cane shows usage wear, as a walking cane. Displays well as a walking cane, or on a flat surface.
