Beautiful 20th Century Folk Art Hand Carved Canoe Shaped Wooden Bowl

  
This older piece of 20th century folkart crafted by hand out of a single piece of wood has outstanding form and is a great display piece. The wood's burl and carved texture intricately details the care and amazing skill that went into crafting this 20th century folkart. Note: on one of the top edges of the canoe there is an old chip that is about 1 wide. The canoe was carved and two lower extensions with carved holes allow a piece of leather to be connected so the bowl could be hung and secured. One of a kind piece - a really unique piece of folk art to display, study and enjoy.
