Fantastic Vintage American Folk Art Carving Of A Cowboy Rodeo Bull Rider

  

Up for your consideration this very unusual and wonderful carving depicting a cowboy riding a bull probably at a rodeo. The work is carved and painted and the figure has leather chaps and a velvet hat with a feather. The work is very dramatic and really captures the essence of a bull rider. It measures 17h x 15w x 11d. The work does have an old repair from a brake at the bills legs, please see photos.

It was repaired with two large screws screwed in on the underside into the bottom of the bulls legs. It was professional done and the bull is very secure.
