More than 50 years ago a young boy and his father carved, glued and nailed this together. 20 years ago that young boy passed away due to gun violence here in Kansas. I met his father at a sale and told me all bout this piece which he'd held onto for almost 50 years. It is a well played with absolutely poignant piece of American folk art. Cobbled together from spare farm wood.
