The dark line is the horizon line, with carved mountains and a Pegasus figure! Not sure if it was done by the same person, or if the artist had more detail to add, but this is how it is now. The guitar itself is old with old dull strings. It plays ok in the first position for open chords as a strummer.
The action gets worse as you go up the fret board. It's probably ideal for slide, but will need some work to make it right as a full fret board player. The guitar is stable with what appears to be the original tuners. You also get the cool vintage beat up Lifton case that looks like it has crossed the country and maybe has gone around the world a few times!
It's got old and new duct tape on the seams and a lot of assorted stickers, but it does the job with a cool old blues train hopping vibe! The Lifton medallion is still intact and the latches and handle are good. Thank you for looking and see my other auctions for more unusual guitars & amps. Just a note: Please take a look at our other listings.
