This large handmade beauty was carved of wood in Canada in the style of Ainu carvings of Japan. He also goes well with Black Forest carved style figures. Signed on the bottom, carved into the wood, is HAND CARVED IN CANADA HS. THERE ARE NO CHIPS OR REPAIRS to this piece.

There are old and stable check lines, which in my opinion do not detract from his beauty. He is heavy, weighing 2 pounds, 7 ounces alone, before packaging. Stands 11 tall, 8 long and 4 wide. Gorgeous carving in a substantial size. Perfect for lodge, cabin, cottage, or any lover of bear carvings. Always in a Nonsmoking home, no musty or odors of any kind. He has been lovingly cared for, we moved into a much smaller house due to our age and must let things go.
