Vintage hand-carved bird sculpture by Daniel Strawser. Features a branch on a round wooden base with (9) hand-carved and hand-painted birds. This fantastic piece of folk art is from Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Base is signed "DBS 73 Robesonia, PA". SIZE: 24" high, 9" from branch-to-branch at widest point.

This is nearly 50 years old and has held up remarkably well. The paint colors on the birds are bright and vibrant.

There is no damage to the birds. There is a break in one branch (the one with the blue bird), but it is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. Could use a good surface cleaning to remove dust with a soft cloth and brush - I'll leave that up to the new owner.
