Daniel Strawser Hand Carved Pennsylvania Folk Art Bird Tree c. 1984

  
Daniel Strawser is the well known folk artist who hand carved this wonderful Pennsylvania Folk Art Bird Tree in 1984. Signed on the base with his initials and 84. Tree branches have 7 beautifully carved and painted birds. Tree measures 27 1/4" x 17". The branches are attached to a piece of wood that retains the bark. For it's age it is in very good condition. It does need a good cleaning to bring out the color in each bird.

There is one clean break on a branch where the second bird from the top sits. Easily fixed with a drop of super glue.
