BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE AND ONE-OF-A-KIND, IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION! VINTAGE 1950's MEXICAN HAND-CARVED MONOCHROMATIC WOODEN WALL SCULPTURE with INSERTED BLUE GLASS EYES, representing "TRIPLECARA" : WINGED HEADS of THREE BLUE - EYED ANGELS/CHERUBS, LOOKING EACH IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS; EACH - WITH ITS OWN CHARACHTER!

HOLE FOR HANGING IS PROVIDED. 14.5" ACROSS; 5" tall. CARVED FROM ONE SOLID PIECE OF WOOD, WITH ATTACHED WINGS.

This beautiful wall sculpture appears in good vintage condition. A touch of surface wear; might appreciate some very light cleaning. While wood-carved angels and cherubs used to be a part of home décor in the Mexican villages for centuries, there are no two angels that would be exactly alike. Nowadays, they are not that easily found because mostly they remain in the families as a family heirloom, thought to bring good luck to the household. Each wood-carved angel is either slightly or completely different from the others (depending on the master where each one expresses his unique style), and represents a beautiful work of Mexican Folk Art!

Angels with inserted glass eyes are particularly rare and considered most valuable! BEAUTIFUL WOOD CARVING and EXCUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP SHOWS GREAT DETAIL; THE CHERUB's HEADS ARE CARVED FROM ONE SOLID PIECE OF MADERA WOOD, WITH ATTACHED WINGS.
