Vintage Shona Stone Bust Hand Carved African Verdite Traditional Folk Art Green

  
Handmade Vintage African folk art sculpture. The bust features a man with intricate facial features carved from Verdite stone popular in the Shona culture for carving. It was hand sculpted by Charles Danda in Zimbabwe and is a one of a kind piece. The sculpture is signed by the artist and measures 6 inches in height, 3.5 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep. It weighs a little over 4lbs. Both ears are chipped as well as a small portion of a nostril as shown in photos. It is only noticeable on one ear.
