For sale is a colorful, hand-carved and painted wooden fantasy fish sculpture created and signed by sculptor Robert Cordisco in 1992. This whimsical piece features a chunky stylized fish with a wide-open pink mouth full of white teeth, a large expressive eye, dorsal and tail fins, and bold marbled/swirled paint in teal, turquoise, purple, white, and blue.

It has a fun, folk-art energy perfect as a shelf or table display. Clearly signed and dated R. CORDISCO'92 on the base (see photos). From the artist's early career exploring painted wood sculptures with playful, decorative themes.
