Rare vintage French mid century carved wood pig serving platter. Large example measuring approximately 28 inches long, with a generous serving surface carved along the back and sculpted legs beneath. These larger scale pig boards are far less common than the smaller tourist versions.

Hand carved from solid wood with visible tool marks and natural grain variation. The carving has excellent character and presence.

This is not a thin decorative reproduction. It is substantial, sculptural, and functional. Mid century modern organic decor.

The scale alone makes this a standout piece. Most examples found on the market are significantly smaller.
