Up for sale is a beautiful, oversized vintage mid-century modern German folk art wood relief wall plaque. This unique, one-of-a-kind piece features an expansive, hand-carved bas-relief scene of ten children engaged in a playful game of tug-of-war.

The craftsmanship showcases bold, stylized dark outlines and flat, earthy mid-century paint tones reminiscent of iconic German nursery art producers like Mertens-Kunst and Ravi. At a substantial 19" x 8.25", this striking horizontal panel is much larger than typical vintage German plaques, making it a perfect statement piece for MCM nurseries, playroom decor, or folk art collections.
