Hand Carved Walking Stick Antique Folk Art Hardwood. This hand carved folk art walking stick dates from the mid 19th to early 20th century. Carved from a hardwood, possibly hickory, it's decorated with several geometric patterns, including 4-sided diamond shapes, crosses, circular notches, and stylized stems with leaves. It's finished with a dark, almost black stain. A metal insert protects the bottom tip of the stick from damage during use.

This folk art walking stick could be used occasionally on a walk or short hike, but it might best be used as a decorative object in the home.
